Hourly Rates
Our hourly rates are structured according to business size:
- Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs): R1,500 per hour (excluding VAT)
- Large Corporates: R2,500 per hour (excluding VAT)
These rates apply to advisory work, consultations, opinions, disciplinary and grievance support, CCMA- related preparation, and general labour-law services.
Employment Contract Drafting
We offer a fixed-fee service for employment contract drafting to ensure certainty and value:
- Employment Contract Drafting: R2,500 per contract (excluding VAT)
This fee includes:
A brief consultation to understand the client’s operational and compliance needs;
Drafting of a legally compliant employment contract tailored to the role and business context; and
One round of reasonable amendments following client feedback.


Retainer Packages
For clients who require ongoing labour-law and employee-relations support, we offer tailored monthly
retainer packages. Retainers provide priority access, cost certainty, and proactive legal support.
Retainers are structured based on:
- The size of the workforce;
- The level of operational complexity;
- The frequency of disciplinary, grievance, and advisory matters; and
- The scope of services required.
Retainer services may include:
- Ongoing labour-law advice and support;
- Drafting and reviewing workplace correspondence;
- Assistance with disciplinary and grievance processes;
- Policy and compliance guidance;
- Strategic HR and employee-relations input.
- Retainer fees are custom-quoted following an initial consultation to ensure alignment with the client’s needs and budget.
